What automation tools and frameworks do you use for this role?
We primarily look for experience with modern web and API automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright. For API testing, we frequently use Postman and Rest Assured. We highly value engineers who understand the fundamentals of building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks, regardless of the specific tools used.
Is this a completely onsite role, or are there remote/hybrid options?
This is a full-time onsite position based in Vadodara, Gujarat. We believe in close collaboration through in-person teamwork, daily standups, and direct interaction with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
What does the typical daily workflow look like for a QA Automation Engineer?
Your day will involve participating in Agile sprint meetings, understanding feature requirements, creating and maintaining automation scripts, executing regression and integration tests, and reporting defects. You will also collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues before releases.
Will I get exposure to performance testing and DevOps pipelines?
Yes. While the primary focus is automation testing, you will also have opportunities to work with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and performance testing initiatives as part of our broader engineering ecosystem.
What is the interview and selection process for this position?
Our hiring process generally includes an initial HR screening, a technical assessment to evaluate automation and problem-solving skills, and a final technical and culture-fit interview with team leads.
